Tax Day + Chick-Fil-A Sandwich = Blissful Pain

If you happened to fall into the pool of millions of other American citizens, including myself, who waited until the last minute to mail their tax documents and reside in Tulsa, Oklahoma — you were able to enjoy a Chick-fil-a chicken sandwich shortly after dropping your mail off. Although I do not know all of the details behind the mysterious chicken sandwich that was handed to me on Denver, Avenue just seconds after I handed off my Fresno, California, destination envelopes; I surely appreciate whoever put it together.

Lining the streets Tuesday, April 15, were employees of our lovely United States Postal Service and the local Chick-fil-a company. They were handing off chicken sandwiches to everyone in each vehicle as they passed and handed their mail to the postal clerks who placed them into a huge bin. Personally, I expected to spend a hour in line and ten minutes walking from the distant parking lot into the postal center. It was definitely a surprise — one that will not be easily topped the next time I stop in for a book of stamps!
