Although no one really finds the unbearable Tulsa temperatures during summer to be enjoyable; you might if you know you are doing something wonderful for your community and humanity as a whole. First, the internet is a vast medium of communication, much of which is available for free. We can’t imagine why anyone would prefer to look anywhere else for opportunity. Organizations are constantly requiring the passionate activities and free labor to help with their objectives — let’s give it to them!

Enjoy animals? If you’re a pet-loving individual who would prefer to work with animals then people, check out PAWS of Tulsa for opportunities. They are looking for individuals from lodging pets in their homes to computer assistance in their office.

1-800-Volunteer.org has a Volunteer Central of Greater Tulsa setup to assist individuals in finding opportunities as well. We are not sure whom or which of these organizations are, if at all, supported or endorsed by the City of Tulsa, but we feel positive that no one is going to mind if you use them to find a volunteer match that suits you.
